Doe Estrus

I was just wondering when the best time is to use doe estrus?

 

Right now would be great. The bucks are definitely starting to trail does.

 

I used it the other day and a nice buck came right into it, pulled back and a big fat miss on my part.

 

I would say anytime from here on...the pre-rut is starting to heat up.

depends what state you are in. I wouldn't try it in Iowa for another week at least.

best time for me in the last 8 year of bowhunting in East Central Iowa, has been the first two weeks of November for estrus. too early and you will only attract little bucks who don't know any better. this has been my experience.
