Nice Crick, I swore I was done on does for now, but if one of the PITA gals from tonight wanders by tomorrow, they are getting pumped. Stood in my tree with my eyes closed for ten minutes while she was trying to find what she smelled. I silently said, I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. :) Does must die!!!!!

Thats one of my honey holes, its a b!%^& to walk to but its rare that I have nothing walk by. Im way way way back off a couple field edges tucked up tight against the bedding, and catch the ones that left the field before light going back to beds. I absolutly love this spot. I killed a 155" with ML in 05 back there.

Sounds like my kind of spot. Most of the spots I hunt are 1 - 1.5 miles from the road here. This year I was a bit spoiled. I shot my buck only a 1/2 mile from the road but he covered a good mile getting to me. The strong wind factored in to where I set up otherwise I would have gone in another 3/4 mile to setup on him.

The doe I shot was 60 yards from East-West road and 120 yards from the North - South road. :) Two corn fields run the edge of both roads. I setup in a spot where the deer crossed between the two roads. It was a sweet spot with standing corn. Now that the corn is down it is worthless. :(
