As I posted in the live from the stand thread I shot a doe this mourning at 9:00. She was all by herself and had not seen anything all day but a small fork horn. I thought she was at 45 yrds when I shot and I ended up hitting her in the spine and droping her where she stood. The reason I thought she was at 45 was becasue my range finder batteries are dead but I had enough to find out after I shot that she was only at 40 which is why my arrow went high. Also she is a nice young i mean young doe so I know Ive got some good eaten.

    shot break down
She came across the front of my stand eating corn
    Little to no wind
    40 yrd shot
    Doe down
    fridge full (well kinda)

Congrats Jake..... Do I see spots??? :D

Should be plenty tender, fresh backstraps for you tonight, or better yet a meal for one of about 10oz. of delicious tender inner loins...... Damn, I hope to kill something tonight now.... (HUNGRY!!!!)
