I was sitting about 20 foot but the deer was down the ridge so I guess that is what did it. I was aiming right behind the shoulder for a lung shot but the arrow just went a tad higher than I wanted. This is the second time I have done that, once I shot over a groundhog that I ranged at 18 and used my 20 yard pin and held it low and shot right over his head. I used my 10 yard pin and it was dead on. I really dont know whats up besides just to aim lower from now on because the sights are right on when I am shooting level. And we can have unlimited does here, just have to buy bonus tags for each 2 you want to shoot after you take the antlerless deer that comes on your deer permit.
Great job! Got two left, or are you in a zone 1 county and have to stop when your arm gets tired? :D EDIT: beat me to the question, sounds like a zone 1 situation! haha Keep givin em hell!
Way to Go Jenna! You shoot better than most of the guys here. Definately kill more deer than alot of them..lol
Good job. I've ben on stand 9 times and haven't even got to draw yet. It's been really hot here, yep...that's my story and I'm stickin to it.
