Haha!! "um...no" in no way expresses disdain. Insecure much?

Anytime I say "Um,no", which is plenty, it is followed by " are you a ****ing idiot"

Are your cargo shorts Realtree? Mossy Oak? They're probably generic woodland camo. I'm talking about dudes who wear commercial camo shirts and pants in public. I have two pair of camo cargo shorts. I don't wear them much, but occasionally I'll wear them to the grocery store.

To the dudes who are upset that Dan/Hooker/Trevor take offense to your camo wearing....why do you care?

I don't take offense to dudes wearing camo in public, I just think it looks trashy. You can wear whatever you want, but don't expect me, or everyone else in the world to not make judgments about you by your appearance.

None of those answers would indicate disdain unless you are making poor assumptions. And you did. The insecurity seems to be completely self-inflicted. Otherwise, you really just wouldn't care what we answered. The question was asked and answered. A LOT of people look at camo in public places as somewhat shabby or lacking in class. No biggie. Just the way it is. No reason to get your camo panties in a bundle and attack moderators, etc.

Why is it even a discussion point if people wear camo in public?

Why does it matter if I wear camo out to dinner, or the movies?

Should I be ashamed that I am a hunter?

Some of the bravest men in America were it daily.. By your logic I should look at those soldiers in at Walmart as slobs..

Its a sad day when people make assumptions about some one based on what they wear... Just look at Obama.. he dresses to the T... If you based his possible worth as a president on his dress style you might think he would be a good one...

Same can be said for well dressed white trash...

It isn't the clothes that make the man, it the right in his heart and his mind!

I often work in my undies. Ha ha to you people that need to wear clothes!! When I go to the store, I strive to not be the subject of 'The People of Walmart' but I don't set the bar much higher. Judge away... I'm oblivious.

I have had jobs where I needed to 'dress up'. Had to wear nylons and heels at all times. Heck with that.
(tho' there was that one time that I bludgeoned a deer to death with a tire iron on the way to work and got blood all over my skirt and shoes... and my manager didn't complain.)

because this is a public forum...

It doesn't. But don't expect to not be judged.

    No

    not the same

While this is true, people (everyone, even YOU) make judgement on appearances whether you want to admit it or not.

If you only knew what I wore on a daily basis when not at work, you would certainly see I'm far from elitist. Right now Im taking a lunch break from starting a retaining wall in ripped jeans, an old bowhunting.com hat an no shirt:D would I wear this out? Nope. Just like I won't wear my hunting gear out on the town.

Although you are right in that I DO make judgements... Most of the time when its possible to confirm that judgement I am wrong most of the time..

Yeah, but attacks on moderators can be so entertaining.

I'm wearing a cutoff and camo cargo shorts at work right now, but I work construction so I don't have an appearance standard

I wear camo cargos into town, but I don't wear camo shirts or anything else camo besides a hat sometimes.
