I do not own/use one. I see no problem with them, I just don't have one. If I did have one I would probably find the best use for me when rifle hunting beyond 200yds. I would not range a deer while bow hunting because that is just one more set of movements I don't need and one more possibility for the deer to see me since most of my shots will be 30 yds or less. In the rare case I bow hunt a field edge it may be helpful from 30-40 yds. but that would not be often. I think it is a good tool to have if you have the extra $$ for gadgets.
