Yes, acid rain and ozone depletion good examples of human induced issues that through change were largely solved. It would be nice to think climate chance can also be so easily solved, but I am doubtful. There is too much selfishness and a lack of credible information exacerbating the problem.

Rate of change is the issue and the tie of that change to anthropocentric "advancements".

I am jealous of your optimism and hopeful for your children but I am afraid the optimism is short sighted. Do you jot see merit in collaborating with nearly 200 countries to work toward a common goal? Do you really think each of those countries and those that did not sign the accord will proactively work in dependently to solve the problem?

I have sought an advanced education, I use a 10 year old hybrid electric and the next car will be electric. I rarely drive and try to bike as much as possible. I have the highest insulation possible in my home, I have been replacing windows and doors to upgrade them, I updated all appliances, I have no AC, I have no dishwasher, I hang dry clothes, I buy little unless it is absolutely needed, I purchase food with packaging in mind, I collect rain water for the garden, I grow produce, I use virtually no lighting, I share an electric lawn mower with my neighbour, I will be getting solar panels, and I chose not to have children because adding one more person to this finite planet is absurd. There is a lot any one individual can do, it is all a matter of becoming educated and putting others, and future generations before yourself.

Much of your virtue signaling is just regular life for a lot of us.

I laugh at the shared electric mower tho'.

Well thank god you're not reproducing. I thank you for that fantastic decision. I guess survival of the fittest really does win out in the end.

How does that work out with the carbon exchange if the "green" electric motor is charged or powered by electricity that came from a coal powered plant?

You get points for being stupid enough to buy into the propaganda BS like a good little sheeple. If it doesn't come directly from your shoe it ain't your footprint right? LOL

Coal has been phased out. My electricity comes from nuclear, wind and soon, solar.

It is hard to control other people's "footprints" but education is clearly needed and I strive to teach others.

Survival of the fittest will not be humans if the current course continues unfettered.

I went outside this morning and it was warmer than yesterday morning so I cursed the sky and shed a tear like the fake indian from the 70's public service commercial about pollution.

Please just make sure you actually use that diesel and you're not going to be one of "those" guys. You know. Truck nuts. Hunting stickers. 6" lift and a drop hitch made with your 120 Mig welder.
