Went down fighting in an all day sit last Saturday, I think the big boys are starting to get locked down. Saw nothing but dinks all day. I will be back at it when the gun season opens in two weeks. The property I have is surrounded by a property that only allows bowhunting and so I should have less stressed deer than most in the area. I will continue to hunt into the late season. I planted turnips this year just for such an occasion. I can't be upset, I had my chance at a slammer on Halloween and I blew it, regardless, I don't just fade, it's only a few precious months a year.

Could be lock down time. Last week deer were chasing all over around here. Haven't seen a deer Sat, Sun or this morning in the swamp behind the house. They'll start up in a few days.
