Never... Again... Will I shoot a doe with a fawn. Spots or not. Our only doe season is in November so this isn't too much of a threat.

Nope....I'd shoot one of the fawns and have the milk feed hams in a smoker before noon!

The fawns would be fine, but I still wouldn't shoot her.

Let me be the only one to say this... Yup. If its a mature doe, why not? The fawns will live.

I would bet there's a good chance she'd throw triplets again next year. No shot from me.

I like this. My aunt has property in Arkansas and has a local doe that has dropped twins for the last four years running.

Let the doe walk but one of those spotted boogers fits nicely in the crock pot. Best venison I've ever had. Early season I'll only shoot a buck or a young one >>------->

If I were somewhere where deer (fawns in particular) were in abundance I would love to try one. I'm sure they are just awesome eats. Just not the case here. Gotta let em go. Gotta let em grow.

Honestly I'd rather take a young deer not only because they taste like heaven, but because those big old does make good moms and will fight off coyotes and other predators. Plus if she's dropping triplets she's a keeper.

If the spots are gone in my one area yes, we have to many deer. In my other area nope no doe tags after the last couple of hard winters.

They better lose their spots quick because mommy is headed to my freezer. If I want to shoot a doe, fawns being present have no bearing on my decision.
