Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. In those situations where I don't, I usually give the seat a courtesy wipe.
Honestly depends for me... Don't ask why I don't raise it sometimes, because I truly don't even know the answer. I'm also very surprised at how many people use their foot to raise the seat in public... I will admit that I have never once done that. Wash your hands and you're fine.
Why is it you guys think the seat should be raised prior. In my opinion the seat should be raised after you use it if you want to keep it in tiptop shape.
It should be raised prior so you don't hit the seat. Raising it after the fact would be like wiping before you go. Lol You accomplish nothing. I always raise the seat and then I always lower it. Public or in my own home. I hate having to go #2 in public and the seat be covered in pee..... I don't see how some peoples bathroom habits are so horribly disqusting.
If the person before you raise the seat after they was finished you wouldn't hit the seat because the lid would be up...
And some of you question the banning's of the last few days, when you don't have the manors of a sub bridge dwelling street urchin, its sad to see what we have lost. Pride for God sake! Get some.
