    I don't have a problem with leaving the seat up, just so long as everyone returns it to the up position when there done.
    If the ladies won't put it back up after their done they get what they get.
    It shouldn't be just on the men to do it.
    Equal rights and all that.

    Public yes, with my foot.

    At home no. I take a squat and maybe check my phone. Much easier than having to clean up the occasional miss fire and have a bathroom smelling like piss. I clean the toilets in my house.

    I heard those toilet liners do nothing to protect yourself from bacteria already on the seat.

    I do not lift the seat, ever. I do wipe the seat down before I sit down in public restrooms though, Ive found fecal matter and urine that i've wiped up. When you gotta go, you gotta go. I use porta johns too, nothing stops this monster from going.

    Always lift and return. Public and home.

    And BTW, I don't miss at the urinal either. My word, why is it so messy in front of the urinals. How can you miss a urinal standing less than a foot away? I don't get it. OK, rant over.

    I always raise it regardless of where I am, public restrooms I generally wait for the urinal to open up if there is one.

    During the St. Patties Day parade they had coed porta-potties set up. While none of the men ahead of me raised the seat I did with my foot and warned the first female in line afterwards that people ahead didn't have the same respect

    I don't understand the not raising a public restroom seat either. Use your foot. You're basically saying you won't sit on the seat(not the intent of the poll) because people such as yourself don't have enough respect to raise it so why bother.

    ^ this right here... And if there are no urinals available, just out of consideration lift it with your foot. Some of us have kids. A 4 year old doesn't care that your trying to sanitize the seat with wipes, because they are going to pee with our without your help.
