Its the best way to run off a little spike that's hanging out under your stand. You never know if there is a shooter buck just out of sight that would hear you if you try and shoo off the little guy so piss on him instead.

I went on an out of state hunt last year. Within five minutes of peeing I had several does walk up underneath my stand exactly where I peed. Two of them I watched eating the leaves I just peed on. They covered everywhere I peed and then some. They were there for 20 to 25 minutes. Since then I’ve never worried about urinating from the stand.

I've never seen a deer alert from smelling piss. I've had many deer come check it out, they are curious animals. I used to worry about it but I don't anymore. It's not that often I have to go while on stand, but if I do, I let it rip.

All the time. I used to not, but couldn’t stand it one day during the rut. I figured I’d rather do it there than get down. I’ve done it ever since. I’ve had enough deer ignore it to believe they do not seem to even notice it.

I'm surprised there are still people carrying bottles to pee in. It's been pretty well proven over and over again that it doesn't matter.
Like many others, I start my own scrapes this way all the time for trail camera purposes. I have hundreds of trail camera pictures proving that mature bucks are not afraid of it.
