I have a couple ex's as friends on fb. They are generally good people otherwise I wouldn't have dated them to begin with. So far none have gone all "psycho" or anything so until that happens they'll stay there. If my current girlfriend even had an issue about it we would have to sit down and figure out why she's feeling insecure about our relationship.

She is definitely not the jealous type and she has no reason lot be. I think my wife would be ok with if but would ask me why or who she is. This thread turned more into what my wife thinks. I guess I was more wondering how it is to have an ex as a friend on fb. I just think I would feel weird knowing she can see stuff that is going on in my life. Sounds like you're making the right choice! I don't worry about what my 'friends' might think about my posts... then again I won't post anything that my mom, employer or anybody else I might actually care about would find offensive. 'Cept maybe the political and gun posts... but if they don't like those, well then, F'em anyhow. I could stand to lose a thousand or two anyways. My ex probably looks at my page and it probably ticks him off a lot. The thought of this makes me very happy.
I have been married for 30 years and just recently got on Facebook. Yes, I have re-connected with several of my old girlfriends, even the ones I was serious about. It has been fun after that many years finding out about their lives and it has not bothered my wife in the least. However, if i was in 20's or 30's, I probably would not have done so.
I'm positive I hold the record for most ex's on FB... but I'm single and a complete man-*****, so it's to be expected. They get a little pissy with each other sometimes, but never with me. In your case though, I'd advise to just leave well enough alone. Say hi to her through messaging, but tell your wife of the situation and explain to the ex that it's probably best to keep it at that. If I do ever sttle down again, I'll clean 'em out on a case by case basis.

I don't have a facebook account or any other social media accounts like Twitter. Also, I don't associate with any of my old "girlfriends" (either long term or short term if you know what I mean).
best post! haha but if your wife dont mind you can always delete her or block her lol problem solved and i would just ask your wife befor ya did it but my girlfiend is kinda wierd about stuff like that lol like i said before she doesnt like any women on my fb but she just has to deal with it haha
