Tools - I can't bring myself to throw away a screw driver or a drill even though I already have 5 others just like it. It's OK because I never have to burrow or go buy anything new.
I guess I should add running shoes to my list as well. I currently have 5 pairs in my rotation, and I really want to add the NB Zero as well. Those 5 pairs do not count the many, many old pairs that I have stashed under my bed.
I have way too many guitars,I just cant go by a pawn shop or flee market and not end up saving one life or so it seems to me. I just love a old lawsuit guitar from the 60-70's yes they always sound like sh!t but i cant help myself.
Hooker loves shoes and jackets, any questions? For me it's my Truck, I have had a truck since I was 16.
I collect antique maps, beer glasses, old turkey calls, and vinyl records as well. Is that manly enough?
When you cannot live without them yes, I asked my wife this very question, but I knew the answer. Mrs. Hemry cannot live without...... Shoes and Jackets/Coats. I must have bought her 50 coats in our 20 years together.
Ink pens, I swear my family takes them out and burries them. They all seem to just vanish! I find myself hiding personal staches in rooms for myself.
Guns. Ammo. Reloading components (to make more ammo!) and 30 round magazines. (heh heh) I can't seem to find a sharpie marker when I need one.... So I guess I should get more. I bought a dozen scissors and oodles of cheap screwdrivers because I was having the same problem with them. So far I'm good with those. I have a fetish for string. Also; rope, chain, zipties and duct tape. ...and paper. I love paper. I rarely buy any of those things but I want them....
Sneakers and Oakley sun glasses can't see one I like and not buy it gotta have it, bad addiction!!!!! Some I won't even wear!!!!
I don't have anything that I can't have enough of....but I have a problem of when I do buy something, I have to have better quality that I really need. For example, I'd like to have a bench mount grinder. A 50 dollar special would do me more than fine, but I'll likely spend 200 on something that's way overkill.
Pocket knives. It started out that every Thanksgiving at my uncle's place he would give me one since I was interested and he had more than enough to give away! Then I started collecting my own and we would compare the new ones we had gotten over the year and trade them with each other. By the time I was 10 I had upwards of 50 pocket knives. Guns also. Between my dad and I, we own close to 40 guns. It's weird though, because with only one or two exceptions, we use all of them. My mom complains about us "wasting" our money on them quite frequently....
