I just finished picking softball or larger sized rocks out of the plot I am getting ready to plant. Course it was 85 plus degrees and smokin' hot !!

With the 3 acres that was I was working on today, this will bring a total of 8 acres..:nana:

Which I wondered, am I the only one that does this ?? Guess it's the ole school in me.

Whenever I drop the plow, yep. Usually don't pick much up just tilling under. Haven't had to do it on my clover plot for about 4 years now. Gotta love a good stand of perennials:p

I think maybe you have a few rocks in your head doing it when the weather was hot as it was yesterday.

Yes, we get as many out as we can...as was said before, the mower does not like them.

That is what I was thinking but we need to get the lime and fertilizer on it so we can plant in two weeks.

Hopefully it pays off in the next few weeks.

I pick out the big ones. I'd like to get to the point someday of having a rock hound on a few of them, but that's dreaming.

I pick the big ones and place them strategically so the deer have to go around them and come closer to my stand..works every time! :nana:

That is a good idea....we had 6 buckets in the front loader and used the rocks to fill in a low wet spot...

Now will go back with some gravel to make it a little better :)

Don't let him fool you. He rides the four wheeler pulling the plow. :busted:

The rest of us pick up rocks every year.
