I know we all love the sport but are there things that just irritate you to no end each time you do them?

I guess for some it may be getting up early, dragging the deer out the woods, field dressing, etc.

One of the things I dread is climbing up certain trees. I said CERTAIN because some are rather large and I have to start out with my climber at about a 45 or so degree angle to the tree. The cable is out to its farthest position and the teeth are really biting into the tree making it that much more difficult to climb. AND then when I get to the desired height I have to do some fancy maneuvering to get the stand positioned correctly. I do this quite a bit during season, but I have to, and it does get aggravating.

Another would also be the morning walk into stand. Sometimes I spook deer and sometimes I don't. The mornings I DO spook them I often wonder if that might have been the buck of my dreams.

Anyone have anything that dislike or get annoyed doing while bowhunting?

A good swirling mountain wind is enough to piss off the pope somedays. Other than fighting those winds, nothing much else I can think of.

I forgot about those crazy winds but I won't add that to MY list. Don't wanna sound like a whiner. :) ;)

The Fact that i cannot bowhunt in my country really ticks me off , considering we have some mighty fine deer and other stuff such as small game and predators . You guys do not know how lucky you are . I just get to practice on targets and the odd furry stump :)

I think the fact that fall only lasts a coupla months. :D
I really really enjoy everything about it i think. Maybe the early season mosquitos might be a bit annoying, I hunt on some marshlands mainly, and i swear if you forget the skeeter net you go home lighter lol

October in Texas could have temps in the 90s. That well and truely sucks. That and the ticks and chiggers. Mosquitoes don't bother me anymore. Thank God for Thermacell!

X2!!!!!!!! I know many say its all about getting out with nature but this is honestly one part of nature I could do without!!! I can generally tell the difference in sound between a deer and a squirrel, but there is always those times that they turn your head constantly!!!

Competition, dishonesty, egos, people stealing stands/cameras, trespassing, secrecy, stupidity, and a host of other things that the pursuit of big animals brings out in people.

Other than that, I think bowhunting is pretty rad.
