A friend of mine ate some while down In New Mexico doing a Coues Deer hunt. One of the locals down there had some so he brought the back straps over and they fried them up, best tasting meat ever my buddy said.

If I ever get to go on a mtn lion hunt, a full body mount is in store as well as as much meat as I can salvage. I have heard they are delicious. As a matter of fact, I don't know of a big game animal in NA that I haven't heard is delicious, other than perhaps the 3 bigger bears (Brown, Polar, and Grizzly) but idk maybe they would be good as well.

I am willing to venture a guess that if you care for the meat properly, cook it properly, and season it to your tastes, ANY big game animal in NA would cook up just awesome.
