To sum things up --- -hunting is "best" if the moon is directly overhead or undertoe. ---deer tend get out of bed earlier in the afternoons to feed and go to bed later in the mornings -Full moons typically make for good mid-day hunts -No moon deer typically move later in the morning and earlier in the evening Did I get this right?
I am beginning to pay a lot more attention to the moon. I have noticed that I get more buck pics when the moon is overhead and under toe. I went back and looked at past pics of two really big bucks I am after and that is when they were the most visible. I had made up my mind to hunt the biggest buck I am after during this time in October of this year. Now, I think I am going to take the same approach with the other bucks as well.
