We can get back on track. We've done a few times in this thread.

    Let's hope so.

Good discussion so far. I have spoken to Tony about this specific topic before, so he knows I struggle with a lot of this. It's been a good discussion overall, though. I want to keep it like that.

Keep letting the antagonist antagonize and let's see where this goes ...And yes, I know this qualifies for an antagonistic post ;)

    That would be nice.

I realize this is a thread in a public forum on the Internet, so we can't tell anyone not to post in it.

I do wish, though, that SPOTnSTALK would stop what he's doing. He's only doing it now because he knows it aggravates people. That much is obvious at this point.

My advice to everyone is to just ignore his input.

    Tony,

My advice to a friend. Just let it be. Please.

The same place it has gone for the last several months. No where. Time to let it go.

Don't try to play the innocent hand in the antagonizing. You have been the biggest perpetuate in any situations with the questioned party.

I must be close to perfect then, because I struggle mightily. It is not so much what I believe to be true, it is integrating that with other stuff.
I have thick skin and don't care what people think of me and my thoughts, I would readily grant they can be out in right field. My concern with threads like this is someone can take great umbrage and ignore the bothersome folk and cause an interesting thread to close. My Mom (peace be unto her) always said it is possible to disagree without being disagreeable. Difficult, but possible. This is especially true when dealing with Faith, which by definition is tenous at best. If a faith of a mustard seed can move mountains, how much faith do I have? I can't move mountains. Not even a grain of sand, though it probably would require the same amount of faith. Unless we have someone special on this thread, I think it is safe that none of us really has that much faith.

Don't know who wrote it. But I read you will only find god if you're looking for it. Here is my thing against that.

You will see conspiracy theories if you look for them. You will connect the dots and make inferences that aren't necessarily true because you want it to be true. If you want to find miserable people to share the miserable people with you, you will find it.

I didn't provide a solution or anything but do you see where I'm going? You'll see red if you're looking for red.

Sure, I see what you're saying. But that also means that if you're looking to disprove God, you will. So what do we do then? Wait and do nothing?
