As per the thread title, do mule deer snort/blow like a whitetail does? I was watching a hunting show, where I could swear I heard a muley snorting, and it sounded just like a whitetail. Other than this, I've never heard a mule deer snort. Thanks for any insight.
I sat a ground blind on the Kaibab Plateau in Arizona a few years ago and will say for certain that the does can blow. Never heard one do it out in the open, though I got busted plenty out there. In the open they just seemed to move out.
