I'm having accuracy problems. My bow is shooting about 4 inches left of the Target. At the range, I was shooting very good but, when I go to my range in my backyard, it shoots left. The thing is that I can't see that good from far. My question is, " should I wait to get my glasses or try to sight my bow now. Will my glasses make me more accurate?

When are you getting glasses? I'm sure you could sight your bow in now, but I would do it again after I got glasses.

Have you already sighted it in once before?

If you could see the target clearly enough to shoot accurately at the range, there should be no difference at home. Maybe something got bumped - 4 inches is a lot. Shooting with glasses will make your sight picture sharper, but unless you vision needs a lot or correction, you can shoot just fine w/out glasses.

The more I thought about it after I posted, I started thinking about this too. 4 inches is a lot, maybe your sight got bumped or something.

Could it be that i sighted my bow with field points and was shooting with a broadhead that day? I was using a three blade 100 grain Muzzy.

Have you paper tuned your bow? If not, you probably need to.

This could definately effect your POI. You need to read up on tuning your bow (ie. paper, walkback or step back, broadhead tuning...)

    Here's a start from the boys @ BH.com!

    Good luck :tu:

I just checked my broadhead, and one blade was a little bent. I guess i hit something while practicing. I just bought this bow about 3 or 4 months ago. U think it needs paper tuning? The guy at bass pro did basic tuning and said i was all set and ready to hunt.

Havent paper tuned my bow yet but will soon. The problem was the broadhead. One blade was slightly bent, so put on a new broadhead and tested it. Shoots as straight as a field point. Nailed a plastic bottle cap at 30yards twice.

i wouldnt really worrya bout paper tuning it would do a walk back tune start at 20 yards shoot one fp an one bh see where they hit an start from there as paper tuning is only a start to the whole proces of tuning a bow. if your not sure on hot to broadhead tune google nuts&bolts broadhead tuning it will give you a shot by shot description on how to do it
