In Virginia you can harvest 6 deer on your regular season license, 3 of which must be does.
This was the first time in 25 years I was able to fill my limit. 2 killed with a 30.06 with-in 5 minutes of each other, a doe and yearling, 2 with a recurve (one I could not find [IMG]) and 3 with a compound.

    How did you do?

I took 4 deer with my bow this year in Michigan. I killed 2 bucks and 2 does. 1 doe was killed in Sep. and the rest of the deer were killed in Oct. I have came to conclusion that you have to take care business in Oct in Michigan. I had a buck tag from Ohio that did not get filled.

I killed 2 bucks and a doe but it is impossible to limit out were I am in NJ because you are allowed unlimited does!(you can check up to 2 does in at a time)You can also shoot 6 bucks a year.

Here in my area of Minnesota, we get 1 deer period. So if I get one durring early bow season, I am taged out for the year. Sucks if you like to gun hunt or ML hunt too.

In New York you get one tag of either sex during bow season then in rifle you get one buck tag and in muzzleloader season you get one either sex tag but you can hunt with your bow for all the season

Nope, just shot a buck and a doe this past season. Next season I'm gonna tag out though, the ol man is buying another freezer and doesn't want it empty.

I didn't fill any of my tags last season and I never fill all of my tags. I simply can't eat that many deer.

I did well in S. Dakota ( a buck and doe) but ate tag soup in Kentucky (missed two shots with the Kanga longbow on bucks) and Colorado (spent 15 total days on stand from sunup to sundown and never even saw a whitetail-we have a .007 buck per square mile ratio).

You need to tell Russ he didn't build the bow to your specifications, it's supposed to kill bucks in Kentucky too.

I was very happy with my season. I killed one buck and four does with my compound. One of those doe kills was a 200 yard long or so stalk hunt in the middle of a grass field. It was awesome. I have eaten more deer meat this year than any year past. I also gave away one of my deer to the janitor at our work. I killed deer in 4 different counties last year.

In PA I filled all my tags for the units I actually hunted. I had a tag for a unit that went unfilled, but I never attempted a hunt there. I took a buck & 6 does. but 4 of those does were with things that go bang. This was the 1st time in several years I got this many deer.
