I seen thee does and a buck follow this morning about 50 yards from me this morning. I setup my stand in shooting range of their route. It looks like a trail they use a lot. What's the chances of seeing them come back down this trail tonight, or do they normaly take a different route back.

It all depends on if you are in a funnel area or not. I am in one and my deer use the same routes am to pm. If you are in a clump of woods then that maybe not so true.

I agree with dawg. I also hunt a "funnel" area and the deer seem to have 2 sets of trails. One set they use on the way to feed & another when heading to bed. The rut is just getting started here & that will also play into it.

during the rut anything is possible. If you are in a pitch point/ funnel your chances are a lot better off as stated above. Best wishes tagging one you like.
