i never saw the area i hunted until fall last year so i never knew how it got in spring, now everything has grown up and it has become unbearably humid in the woods. as spring goes on my trail camera is seeing less and less activity and im just wondering if the deer are avoiding this area bc of the humid weather and traveling around this low area.
I don't think that deer will stop using an area because of humidity, they're far more tolerant of weather conditions than humans. I would say that with lots of vegetation growing, they don't have to travel as far to find good food. Also, lots of the does are spending time getting ready to have their fawns or tending to their fawns.
