OK guys, let try this again. I missed "Usual Suspects" in the original ballot, some people didn't vote, some people said they had no preference, and some only voted once. Some submitted names after the deadline. Please vote for your top 2 in the primary; by Friday; then we can have a general election over the weekend. 4th Horseman (Death on a steed) Forkhorns Blaze Orange is the New Black dnoodles & Company Hunt Club (think Fight Club logo) Blood Thirsty Savages Tuck a Buck Mock Scrape Murderers Tine for Love Rack Attack ShyRack Team Rut Reek The Deer Catchers Usual Suspects My votes are: Blaze Orange is the New Black dnoodles & Company
With that logo; it's winner, winner, chicken dinner. Nothing else was close enough for a general election anyway.
I got a busy weekend next weekend when I get home for Cincinnati got to go bait again, check cameras, take my bow to the stand and do any last minute limb trimming, go get hunting license, plus practice some more cause once I leave out again for work the next time I go home season will be open
Finally getting stuff unpacked into the new house so hopefully by next weekend I can finally start shooting and getting things read for deer season Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
What brand of camo do yall guys use to stay warm in the winter. I have some field and stream bibs and coat which does pretty good to it gets in the mid to low 20s then it helps but still get pretty frosty
I have Gamehide jacket and bibs in Lost Camo, they work pretty well as long as I layer up good Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I use the Scentlok Taktix stuff year round. When It starts to get cold the first thing I add is a heated vest from Volt (This one). That can get me through some pretty cold temps, especially if it's not an all day. When the temps really drop I have a Heater Body Suit.
last season I went all in on Nomad's Dunn lineup...then ended up not hunting in anything lower than mid 30s except for once; which was a 2 mile hike/hang and hunt that I ended up getting sweated up and not needing it. Cold doesn't bother me much. As long as my feet stay warm I'm fine in ECWS long underwear, UA coldgear fleece pants and a UA hoodie down to about 30* so long as it isn't windy or wet. I haven't bought UA (anything) since the Bowmar incident; but I'm not throwing out what I already had- it's really good stuff. Lasted me since 2012 and I hunt a lot and hard. The Nomad stuff feels like it will do the trick down to mid teens. I also have a heated vest that I sometimes wear. Can't remember the brand I'll have to dig it up this weekend.
I have an IWOM suit, but it has to be below 15 for me to break it out because its toasty. On most really cold mornings I use my comforter to keep me warm Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
