Went to check all my cameras today and didn’t have any decent pictures to show from all summer! However that doesn’t matter since the landowner said he seen the biggest buck he’s ever seen out there and he’s going to try and hunt it (which means I can no longer hunt the property) I guess that’s one of the joys of hunting on permission. Let the scrambling begin!

Oaks were looking loaded beginning to drop when I was up in Adams last weekend. If you know of any good oak stands on public that's where I'd start looking.

I figured deadline for idea submissions today say 8pm Central? I'll go through after that and make a list of all submitted tonight. We vote on those Mon-Wed and then maybe if there's no clear winner then take top 2 or 3 vote getters and re-vote Wed -Fri?

Any objections? Gives everyone a chance to log in and contribute. I'm not in a rush for a team name; it's not even Sept yet.

Dnoodles is my vote as well.

Creativity on team names is not one of my strengths so I’ll just wait for the vote.

33 years old. Been bowhunting since 12, although I lost touch with it for several years during my college days.

I’m a Paper Engineer by day.

My biggest bucks are an 8 and 10 that both scored low 150s.

I'm 37. Live in Northern MN. Run my own marketing, videography and graphic design company. My wife and I also run a resort here near Ely. My claim to fame is that I haven't shot a buck with my bow since 2009! So there's that.

Great name suggestions Fitz. I like Usual Suspects, Blaze Orange is the New Black, and DNoodles and Company.
I am 37, I work in software, been hunting since I was 12, bow hunting since I was 28. Biggest buck was 3 years ago the one in my avatar.

Team name choices (with possible avatar descriptions in parenthesis)
Everybody pick your top 2; take the top 2 overall vote getters as primary winners and have a general election:

    in no particular order:

4th Horseman (Death on a steed)
    Forkhorns
Blaze Orange is the New Black
    dnoodles & Company
Hunt Club (think Fight Club logo)
    Blood Thirsty Savages
    Tuck a Buck
    Mock Scrape Murderers
    Tine for Love
    Rack Attack
    ShyRack
    Team Rut Reek
    The Deer Catchers

    _________
    My top 2 are:

Blaze Orange is the New Black
dnoodles & Company (that one actually had me laugh- easy photoshop of the company logo w/ a "D" in front and antlers imposed above it.)

I’m 33 I work for Sherwin Williams. Me and the family just purchased a house a few months ago so that has been keeping me busy. My job will give me plenty of time in the woods. I’m gonna take my boy out with me a lot this year it should be fun.

I’m 20 and just finished up with all my schooling. Currently I am a High Voltage Substation Technician. A buck from me is questionable since I just lost my property to hunt on but I’m scouting public land and setting cameras right now. Count me down for a doe though. My two favorite team names are:
    1.) Rut Reek
    2.) Hunt Club

110-115 is a good guess. I shot one similar couple years back that went 100-ish with a few half busted tines. He would've been very similar if none were broken.

I suck at aging Southern deer...body looks like a 2.5 yo by midwestern standards but I'm guessing by the headgear he's 3? But at least he's beyond the ears. I'm a QDMA guy so he gets a thumbs-up from me! Be a great first deer.

    Since we're giving bios:
I'm 41, married, no kids, 2 maniac dogs. Been bowhunting since I was 12 minus a 8-year hiatus due to school and other life stuff.

Last year was the first I've been skunked with a bow since...maybe 2009? Last season I passed on a couple baskets and that one gorgeous 2.5 year old "Cheese" (first page in this thread) in September that would've scored maybe 120. I'm praying he's still around although I haven't seen him on camera since late Oct 17. If anyone around us had shot him I'd probably know so unless wolves got him he should be around somewhere. He was a tough pass but I know he was only 2.5 and could be a legit 200" deer if he makes it to 4.5 yo.

Lost a basket 8 in IN on a chip shot in mid October (directly leading to my decision to go to a heavy hitting set up with much more KE this season.) Didn't have any other opportunities at a buck after that. Grazed the same doe 2 nights in a row from the same stand in MI. Just a tough year. Ended up filling the freezer with a doe on opening day of rifle.

My best recovered buck is only 115, public land in MI. Lost a couple 130+ up there. Got several in the 100 range in the basket. Can't hold out for much better than that up there, but I do my best to hold out for QDMA/BTE. I'm really selective in WI.

That's what I've been told hes around 2.5 to 3 years old best believe. If he is there when I am and gives me the opportunity I'm going to try and stick him
