Finally went out this evening with the son. I was not expecting to see anything but the. Around 530 I seen some movement and then all of a sudden there were four and the base of the tree. He was little upset that I didn’t shoot but it still around 80 degrees here. We ended up see 11 deer one was a small buck and one a was a no brainer shooter at dusk. IMG_0442.JPG IMG_0453.JPG

right under the stand had to be an amazing rush for your little guy. I still get excited when a deer gets that close; even a button buck gets the heart pumping.

Just a question are we only allowed 1 doe for the contest? Reason I'm asking I just took a nice mature doe 7 minutes ago. This makes my second ever bow kill

This is such a rush so much more challenging than with a rifle

You seem to be certainly getting the hang of it!

Got out for the first time today. 5 does and a fork. None of the does close enough to shoot.

Got a doe this morning. Second one of the season for me. Didn’t get any pics of the first one because it was 85 degrees and honestly I didn’t think about it. But I did get a couple pics of this one to put on the score thread

Great job guys. Teams that pile up does win.

Been at it hard this weekend, Friday AM had maybe a 100" 8pt chase a doe past me. He never gave me a shot and he was borderline shooter anyway. Public land in mid MI you can't be too picky. Had a doe come straight forward me in a grind blind Friday night. Other than that not much going on

...and just like that it can change. Just missed a doe low. I thought she was at 25, and she pegged me on three draw so I held low right at bottom of heart thinking she would duck- she didn't, and I just ranged to where the arrow it's blinking at me and it's 30. F me

Nothing happening for me yet. Seeing minimal deer from the stand so far even with this last cold front. Will be out every chance I get though in the coming weeks.

Let a fork horn walk twice tonight at 5 and again at 30. Other than that no activity. I'll be at it again in the AM then that's it for me until next Saturday.

Me and the boy went out again tonight we only saw one and it was the buck we seen last week. It’s about a 125 inches watched him make a scrape and a licking branch. He didn’t get closer than about 80 yards

Finally seen some buck activity Had a 120’s 8 bump some does off their path and spoil my next doe kill. After that 2 spikes came out and sparred for 4-5 minute.
