Guess I'll start out w/ the intros...

I hunt a mix of 40 private acres in Adams Co WI and public land in IN, MI, and probably KY this year. Pretty active on the boards and in the field. I got skunked last year with a bow; I let several little'uns walk as well as this dandy 2.5 yo I call "Cheese." Not sure if he's still around but fingers crossed. Cheese.jpg

I only ran 2 cameras this summer up in WI; and one of those crapped out a month ago. I just put out 3 more this weekend. Only a couple of definite shooters so far; I'll post those later this week.

I'll update my sig field with my gear set up once I get all that finalized. Just ordered a Bowtech Realm and don't have it all set up yet.

I hunt in SW Wisconsin, and I have a cabin in the UP of Michigan with 110 acres, along with several thousand acres of federal land next door.

I’m a little superstitious so I don’t post many trail cam pics, but I typically have a shot at good bucks every year.

Last year I hit a 120” 8point which I unfortunately did not recover due to a broad head malfunction, and am determined not to have that happen again. Ironically, a 150” deer came in 10 min later, which I passed on, thinking I had successfully harvested the first buck. Talk about testing my ethics!

I also don’t have any meat in the freezer so pencil me in for doe kill for sure.

Turkish checking in. I hunt public land in MN. Our season opens Sept 15, but I usually spend the first few weekends taking my kids out so I don' really get after it until Mid October. Starting to really get amped up for the season here and looking forward to this team taking 1st place :)

Early Special regs season comes in Sept 15 in PA. I planted a fall food plot on our private property almost two weeks ago. It seems to be taking off well with all of the rain we have received.

I definitely will target a doe for meat and the 50 points as well. If you do the math on previous years' contest winners it's something like if everyone on a team averaged 150 points they would destroy the winning team year to year. That's only a doe and a 100 incher. Not saying that shooting 100" deer should be everyone's goal but just pointing out the math.

Personally I am targeting 130+/4yo deer in WI (private); anything over 120 on public in MI/IN....if I make it to KY then nothing under 130/4yo. Not judging anyone who would take a younger/smaller deer but I have enough racks in the basket to wait out Mr. Big. In 25+years of bowhunting I have yet to recover a P&Y class buck. Lost a couple, but not recovered. I'm due; and patient.

I figured once everyone is signed in and teams are 100% certain we can vote on a name.

I've never had the opportunity to draw back on a deer
Looking for advice to calm nerves, and be able to pull bow back and make the shot
