Im looking for a camera to put in our small sanctuary because i know that i'm missing bucks on my other trail cameras. I was looking at the DLC covert and so far was the cheapest/ best quality camera that sends them to email/ phone. Does anyone know if the new Special OPS has any additional price after buying the camera. Do you need to pay a monthly fee or something for it to send photos to your email or cell phone? What are my best options price wise if i want a camera that sends pictures directly to computer or cell phone?
I have been looking at this option also,so my question is if my cell phone does not work i can only assume that these cams wont either... very hilly here and cell phones are iffy even at my home.
There is not a monthly fee from Covert. You would have to get an extra phone line for the camera. If you do not get cell service it wont be able to send pics. I do not believe there is a cheaper option for sending pics direct.
