My covert has the spot for the python lock, but my other 2 wildgame cams do not. So I improvised ....

This won't completely stop a thief, but keep an honest man honest I hope. Figured I would share. Just add padlock of choice.

I have some real jackwagons that hunt near me...so for about 5 bucks each I made those. Cable is too long but that is an easy fix. You could essentially run the cable through all 4 holes..this would make the camera hard to bungie to a tree if one were to break it off the cable.

Yep looks good. Honestly anybody who really wants a camera is going to take it, all the cable locks and stuff we do is just to make it a little harder :)

Good idea. Put the extra wire flush with your swedges in the future. Those end wires sticking out will cut the he!! out of you.

I make a lot of cables out of Stainless steel cable for work.

Just had a Bear eat one of my Moultrie cameras:(

good idea. i am in the process of making some metal boxes and wanted to string a cable around the tree too. I will have to keep a eye out next time I am at a hardware store and come up with something.
