So like every good Diy story this one starts the same I was just sitting around when I realized that I might be able to make a quick and easy foam target that wouldn't cost too much or be too hard to get ahold of the materials to make it.
So my idea is pretty simple it consist of some of my favorite stuff

GREAT STUFF insulation foam 2x cans
    All purpose rope
And a left over box about 1x1x1.5 ft

You can tell how this is going top go probably

So I attached a handle just because I am planning on hanging this target. I sprayed one layer of foam then layed the inner portion of the handle on top. Then I filled the rest. This might take more than two cans of great stuff but I feel like even after$12 of foam I can justify all of this by the simple fact that it's going to hold up better than the $15 throw away target s from Wally world. Who knows you might be able too put your own soon on this and make something better.

    Thanks for reading!

Have you completed your target yet and have you shot it to see how it holds up?
    Thanks.

When I used to use that stuff for sealing holes on construction jobs, I used to heat the can up on the defroster in the truck real good. Hot water would probably work too. When it was good and hot it went twice as far and filled twice as much. Just a thought.

Good thought but my experience with it heated is that is not as dense which is the reason I used the stuff in first place I wanted something cheap but dense that would stand up to repeated abuse and I'm telling you that I shot it up and its been rained on and I couldn't be happier.
