If we are talking about the same play it looked to me like Brees took a shot to the shoulder/chest area not the head. PI probably could have been called but it did look like bang bang play in real time.
I think the Vikings blow this game. The offense isnt scoring in the 2nd half and have lost some guys on defense.
Hope you didn't take that as me responding to you, was not the case. Wanted to type more but left it a little vague I guess. I would love to see Tomlin go, but it won't happen. Today was the defense letting us down, but some better coaching decisions could have given the offense a chance at pulling out a win still. Tomlin got his SB win the same way Switzer got his in Dallas. Off the coat tails of a better coach who had just left him enough to get it done pretty quick.
No worries. I didn't want anyone to think I was taking anything away from the Jags. They played great. I just wish the Steelers had a little better play calling on the sidelines.
Looked to me like the Saints defender was afraid of a pass interference call and avoided contact thinking it was not going to be caught. Catch 22 scenario in a way. Cannot emd the game on a defensive penalty, and that penalty would have put them in FG range.
Yea, the Saints had their chance and blew it. That last uncontested Vikings catch was an amazing game winner. All I can say is our Eagles will have their hands full next week!!
