    Bruce, your avatar is offensive to some. I served in the military for 32 years to protect our freedoms and do not appreciate it. There is a law against using the flag in this manner (even though I have never seen it enforced). Whether or not you hold our national emblem sacred is up to you. Whether or not you choose to offend people is up to you.
    RC, like with many who defile our flag, Bruce can use the reasoning that it is freedom of speech. No matter what you say or how many times you say it, his opinion will not change.
