Germ the USA has become more compassionate with entitlements over the last 8 years, and hasn't it improved the status of the US?

Besides Obama care what laws have change? Has SS laws changed? Did Medicare laws change? Besides the prescription drugs bush and the boys did? Where did I say anything about entitlements? I said nothing. We complain about taking "under God" and any reference to god out of this country, yet when a corporation screws over bunch of people for greed, or pays our government to change a law to favor them, we call it capitalism. I find that funny, I am watching the men who built America on history channel. I love the series, I love the part about Ford, Harley Davison and Hershey. Where they figured out paying people a livable wage was good for their business and selling to the masses. No government needed, just good business. We talk a good game about God in this country, but our actions and how we treat each other tell another story.
How is a law used to displace Americans with cheap labor shipped in any part of capitalism? Explain that too me? A government sponsored program, I could have sworn capitalism did not need government help, nor wanted it.

I interview with a non-profit this week, I'm done with capitalism.
I had the pleasure of working for the Cabela's when they owned it. Cabela's will be sold soon, why? Greed. Richard Cabela is turning over in his grave. Greed may ruined a great company, a company that treated their employees with respect and valued them. I truly hate what we have become, we have lost focus on what matters, we matter, people matter. You matter to me Sota.
Perhaps one day will pick our heads up from our phones, look around and see what we have become, when we do, we wont like it. Hey if Disney wants to displace workers form America who have worked their asses off so those at the top get their millions, and we as a public don't stand up and fight for them, well it surely does not say very much about us.
    I'll fight.

I have been boycotting Disney for years, right after the kids had been to the last one Sea World.

Also nonprofits are not without their economic influences as well they also tend to be rather political and turn over tends to be high. Then again I could be wrong not sure what type of nonprofit you were talking to. My experience is with a non profit professional association in the Beltway.

I also agree about taking care of employees, where I work any employee hired had free of charge medical, dental and vision the first day of the next month of employment, funny when obama care rolled in we were told that the plan could not be offered because it was considered a cadilac plan and the employees then were told they pay for the same level of medical coverage, how were those employees helped by obamacare?

Germ are you telling me you don't have an obama phone?

The biggest problem with today's capitalism is that it's no longer laissez-faire capitalism. In true laissez-faire capitalism, companies are much more likely to be ethical and keep their employees when they aren't taxed to death and government doesn't subsidize their competitors. Germ, what I think you're trying to say is, government does so much for the people who do nothing and they do nothing for the people who do so much. The good guys who play by the rules always lose, that's why liberalism must be defeated. The more we get away from true capitalism, the more it hurts the good guys. Capitalism isn't at fault because this isn't capitalism.

There is an interesting parallel with Disney to the article (link below) about Gravity, the company that was going to pay all employees $70k/yr..

This was one interesting quote from the article, what is the purpose of a business?

“Is it to maximize shareholder returns? Or is it to best serve the customers and provide for employees?”

Imagine if a man when he saw another man who had more and instead of thinking if I had part of his wealth my life would be better thought if I could just learn something from the successful man I could make my life better.

Germ, check out bloomberg business online, the savior that is paying $70,000 to all employees seems to not be all he seems to be.

Wow different attitude than last week, if the story I read is accurate he is a manipulative d-bag. Like most feel good stories he played the socialists with class envy like a drum.
