Alright the inner geeks inside me is screaming F*** yeah, but at the same time he's praying that this doesn't turn into a freaking nightmare starring Samuel Jackson, Nicholas Cage, Queen Laqeffa and that kid from the transformer movies who's also in everything. I wouldn't mind Queen Laqeffa as long as she play's Juba the hut.

They've defiantly come a long ways in creating great movies Avengers was amazing, so I can only imagine the next star wars would follow suit. I've already read the first part of the next movie and it seems pretty good with Han solo and Princess Leia having twins (Go figure).

Anyways I just heard about this and was wondering what others might think about it. God I need to go kill a deer!

Like I mentioned earlier the first of the last three books I had started reading year ago. Unfortunitily I lost that book, but it starts out with Luke having the same powers as Yoda with feelings in the force and he can since the Dark side still present. The twin's were taken from Solo and Leia to be trained as Jedi. The last part I remember was Luke exploring the ground level of the sky city looking for the sorce of the Dark side. then BAM i lose the book. I'm just curious as to who will play Luke if its not Mark Hamill. it better not be that freaking kid for the transformers movies. Man I feel like a little kid on Halloween, but I'm a 35 year old on Halloween. lol

Puh leze... no more Star Wars. I got sick of it in the 1800s when the first ones came out. Everywhere I went, some 5 year old was smacking me with a plastic tube or telling me all about his stupid looking toy space ship.

Disneys already commited to 7, 8 and 9. Where Lucas refused to. Plus Lucas didn't even direct Empire which in my opinion was the best one. Disney did a pretty good job with the Pirates of the Carribean so I think they'll do just fine with Star Wars. PLUS I believe 90% of the writing is already done because of all the books written. Not a huge disney fan but I'm glad to see someone will be continuing the Star Wars saga. Is it true that Lucas gave all 4 billion dollars to education?? That's pretty cool.

Remember this past summer the Avengers movie was produced by Disney as well and look at how amazing it was/is. There are several more books out there where George Lucas allowed certain writers to focus on other aspects of the star wars story. I've not seen them but apperantly there is a chapter that focus on Han Solo before he enters the saga.

Yeah my buddy has read all the books. He said there is a huge back story on Maul and his planet and that is his favorite sub story.

Can honestly say I've never watched a Star Wars movie. Nothing against them but just never got around to it

Nerd was a term first quoted by Dr. Suess.

    My thoughts.

Star Wars 7, 8, and 9 are planned to be made from what ive read. I think the best plot would involve bringing back Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, ect to star as 30 year older versions of themselves, with a slew of new characters obviously. Special effects can help the geezers move a little more fluidyl LOL

As for my favorite character world, Indiana Jones, Paramount still has the rights to that. But ive also heard they are gonna make a 5th movie taking place after the events of the 4th (which wasnt TOO bad and made them a TON of money). Shia Laboofer or whatever his name is will be in it.

Lol @ laboofer. Yeah dude, born and raised loving Indiana Jones. Obviously the 4th wasn't great but I enjoyed it for what it was, A chance to see Indy on the big screen....Again.

Good movies. I'm not sure if I'd recommend watching them in their new Chronological order. I prefer the original 3 first. Then watching the newer 3 movies has the cool nostalgia of seeing characters as their younger selves and how they developed. Watching them in order just sucks. Trust me you cant go from the lightsaber battles of the newer 3 to watching the old school ones and expect the same. The old ones are cheesy and more dramatic rather than action packed special effects.
