Dish Network Customers.... Hunting Channels

Forgive me if they've been around forever, I really don't watch much TV.

I have just the basic Dish channels plus the outdoor channel that I pay and extra $3 a month for, it's a bundle package with my internet. I was just flipping through the channels and noticed I now have the Sportsman Channel and the HUNT(240). Now I've heard of the sportsman's channels but never had it, and now this HUNT channel, is that something new? Just wondering...

 

Ifs probably just a preview, Dish Network always has free preview channels, they usually last for a month or so.

 

That was my first thought, but it's not on my "This months featured free preview" List...

 

I have noticed the same thing, and it has been on the channel guide for over a month I'm pretty sure. Im not sure why they are all on there, but the HUNT channel is all infomercials from what I have seen

 

Same thing happened to me a while ago...

When outdoor channel moved from 153 to 396 I noticed that chan 395 was sportsmans (which I never got before) showed up...and I just recently found HUNT channel 240 I thought it was weird too.

 

I don't have 240 on my Dish. I go from 239 to 253.
