Bowhunting is about spending time with your creator in his creation. Sit back, take a deep breath, and enjoy every second of the precious time you are given in God's woods. Be thankful you live in this great nation. Once you relax and learn to do this, a big buck will just be icing on the cake.
17 squirrels, dang! I've never shot one with my bow, not willing to waste a good arrow on a tree rat. Honestly, whenver I've gotten frustrated over the years for whatever reason, I've just taken a break. Has helped me.
You shot three deer and you're whining? :p . I haven't even seen 3 deer yet while one stand this season in Pa. I saw a spike (not legal) and a doe about 60 yards out. I have seen plenty of deer in Ohio but I don't get over there much due to how far it is.
Yeah quit slinging arrows at squirlles and stop killing so many does early in the season. My guess the area deer know somethings not right on your property
3 deer and your mad lol! Last year i didn't see a deer till oct. 24 and i hunted almost everyday. But 13 squirrels is pretty good haha
Sustainible? Did you ever consider the fact that maybe you shot all the deer in your vicinity? Seriously 3 deer.... Squirrels breed faster than deer. Try eating squirrel. I find no matter how many squirrels I kill, there are always more to replace them. This is not the case with deer. T
