I've harvested 3 does and 17 squirrels so far this year with the Bowtech. Pretty good if you ask me, but now I'm not seeing ANYTHING besides squirrels!! I'm so sick of sitting and not seeing anything. Sat ALL day today and Yesterday and no deer what-so-ever... Any words of encouragement for a disgruntled hunter?!!??

I think you have shot more arrows in the last month while hunting than I have in the last six years.

Maybe, just maybe, quit shooting at squirrels and a deer will show up. lol

seriously though, some people go all season without seeing a deer at all, be thankful you've already harvested 3! Way to go!

It is still really slow not sure why! My trail cams are seeing them all but not as much luck for me except the one doe. The movement is still at night and I hope they start moving in daylight soon.

You sitting the same stand every sit? I'm more impressed that you got 13 squirrels with the bow then the 3 deer. Nice shooting and some good eating there too!!

Ha! I am off work for the month of October on vacation, so all I've been doing is hunting. I guess I should probably stop whining lol, didn't even think about the guys who don't see anything. I hunt 3 different stands on my place, and I know they are moving through there b/c the corn's gone and there's scrapes and rubs all over/ I would take a break but I won't have time in the next couple of months to hunt. I have a squirrel killin' tree near my stand, it doesn't take extreme marksmanship to hit a squirrel hanging off a tree at 15 yds, errr um wait... they were at 85yds, with the wind in my face... lol.

Lets see....... you've killed 20 animals in the woods and are now wondering why you're not seeing anything? Really?

The worst part is you have killed all the squirrels. They at least provide some excitement and false hope rustling through the leaves and thinking maybe a deer is coming. Now your hunts will be filled with silence.

Have not seen a deer yet from the stand this year, so you will have to excuse me for not feeling bad for you.

Yup I have been out for over 10 sits this year and have seen one doe 40 yds away, my buddy went out once and got his first buck archery harvest sunday......I think a couple deer and squirrel should hold for awhile
