Well guys I officially lost my first buck with a bow. I shot a great buck for Tennessee yesterday morning but couldn't find him. I needed to give it overnight but I had to be out of the area at dark. Jumped him out of a bed 6 hours after the shot. Makes me sick.

Had an incredible weekend in Oak Ridge. That was the 5th shooter I saw. It's a pretty sick feeling. I didn't practice with thick gloves and heavy clothes like I should have because the pin was where it needed to be when the bow fired

Shot my bow today and the bow hit about 4" right at 20 yards. Not sure what happened

Sorry I haven't checked in with you guys in a week or so been kind of crazy around here lately. Still at it but combination of busy, trying to get in a bit of waterfowl hunting, and winter coming my deer hunting has been cut back but I am still at it and will be in a tree again tomorrow afternoon. Did make it out over the weekend just a little bit but a truck accident Saturday put a damper on the weekend for me. Hope everyone is still putting in the time! We have plenty of season left!

Going to take my daughter over to the river bottom lease this morning for a short hunt. She has a buck tag and a new buck showed up last week that needs to be hunted :-) Maybe she will get a crack at him. I'll be carrying my bow just in case a does shows up. Going to hunt a river crossing pinch point that is wore out with travel sign...

Hey everyone, just checking in to see how everybody is doing. Our gun season just ended so I'll be back out again sooner than later trying to see what's left. Hope everyone is at least having fun.

I have until the 31st. Haven't been in a tree stand since November. I'm hoping to at least shoot a doe this late season. I'll be doing it on public land because I lost both of my private land spots.
