    Get Out
Not sure if I'll get out tonight or in the morning, but I need to get out. Got a ton of stuff to get done around the house ,like empty the hot tub and clean it, drain my trailer and winterize it. Take it to the acreage, take a load to the dump. List goes on and on ,LOL. Top it of ,it's the moose rut! Where's my priorities! I need to figure that out, LOL. Still got to put up a blind!!!!! Just complaining,LOL

    Going Out tonight
Trying another spot I think, will have to wait and see which way the wind will be! Uaually dictates the spot I go too. My partner never sees anything and looks like his luck has rubbed of on me, he's seeing all the game and I'm left rubbing my hands! Got to stop complaining and get the job done, guess I rubb team mates the wrong way,LOL. SORRY

Alright making my last trip to the farm before the opener in a week! Have one more stand to get up, setup my new blind, check a few cameras and set up a few more and refresh a few mock scrapes! Gonna be a busy morning!

With all the work left to do, wind kept me out of a stand last night and this morning, try again tonight , doesn't look to be letting up with the wind!

Winds will be from the west @14 and it'll be a balmy 37c ,a few degrees above 0. Will be waiting for the game to come of the fields to there bedding area. Too windy tonight.

Hey guys!! Sorry I haven't posted much, I was working out of town all week and didn't take the time to write. I had a great time antelope hunting with my brother last weekend. We almost got ran over by a buck. He was at 67 yards when he created the hill and moving from right to left. I lost him behind the decoy and he was 15 yards when I could see him again. He busted me when I drew back. He ran out a ways and stopped and I didn't take time to range him and shot over his back. It was still an awesome day. I grabbed a screenshot from the GoPro.

Deer season opens here tomorrow and I have a doe tag in my pocket. I am not going to have a chance to hunt for a couple weeks after tomorrow so I want to go out and work out the kinks. Every year I forget something so its a good trial run.

Pulled the chip last night on one of the properties that is about an hour away, and got some pics of a big one.

Here is a compilation on those pics with him. tried to show his rack from every angle I could.

Hope to get a hunt him a couple times this year IF I can get yhe right conditions. He is a crafty ole dude!

Heading out later today to hang a camera over a scrape I found and check out the straps on my ladder stands at the family farm.

I have a camera there thats been soaking for 5 weeks so hopefully I'll get a good idea whats running the farm.

Sounds like you got a lot done, glad to hear about the bigger buck on Cam too, now to put him on the ground huh! Well my morning was quiet till 8:50 when I caught an ear flicker @50 yards. Stood and got ready but the doe snacked for 10 more minutes and decided to go else where. That was it till I left @11 and walked out and I also checked another TC . Only caught the Nanny my partner shot and he lied to me . The fawn still had spots, not a problem, he knows how much I hate that a person would leave a fawn to care for it self. I know come September they get weened and are set loose to fend for them selves. That's just me though, won't get out till Monday. Calling for warm temps next week, I don't like that!!

Sounds like you almost got run over by a Lope, cool, sorry you didn't down one but you got a lot of opertunity too. Plus it sounds like it was a blast , you'll get lots more chances at them seeing your young!!! It's a waste to hunt them with a rifle cause you don't get up close with them then!
