That would require me to log in on an actual computer! I'll get it done before the season starts lol.

Well my new arrows arrived yesterday (GT Gold Tip 400's) and my new Rage nocturnal nocks should be here the first of the week.

Going to do some shooting this weekend to make sure I don't need to make any tweaks to my setup and that the broad heads are still on...

    27 days and counting! :)

The adaptor for my phone doesn't fit right so I don't have a good pic but there is a decent buck out there about 3/4 of mile. Just checking in before I head out there!

174 yards was the best I could do on this one. Still better than I thought. A guy pushing cows on a horse spooked them from the first spot and the race was on.

Well I think I'm done for this week. Hunting has been pretty tough. My brother came along yesterday and I did get a shot off but the buck was long gone before the arrow got to him. I forgot how fast these buggers are. It was a great hunt and I'm working on coming back in a couple weeks. Hopefully by then the bucks will be a little more territorial and we will have more luck with the decoy. It's been so wet this summer that there is water everywhere so hunting water holes is really tough. Especially on public ground when you pop up a new blind. The goats just go to the next water. I snapped a picture as we were crawling toward the buck I shot at. He was still a ways away but you can just make him out over the decoy. uploadfromtaptalk1441559432331.jpg

I was holding my decoy for my Pastor and I read out the distance at 52 Yards and then he started running towards us. I said 39 and then I dropped the decoy and laid flat out while the Antelope ran over my Pastor and kept going, man we laughed our asses off.

    Wow
Went to see if I could pull the draw for the cord on the Excalibur 380! I got it to the safety and that was it so I ordered the Micro to see If I could pull that, guess it's only 9'' to pull compared to the 380 at 12 1/2'' The sales guy is confident I can do it as the 380 is a longer bow compared to the Micro! Just have to weight longer for it to come in! Hopefully my limbs arrive 1st and I'll be able to draw the new lower weight limbs. I'll get it sooner or later! Pissed off, better not miss the moose rut starting about mid month till mid Oct.

The key to cocking those new Excaliburs is having the rope as short as possible. You need to have it so short you have to pull the string up a couple inches just to hook the second hook of the rope cocker on.

We sell a lot of Matrix 380's and the new Micro. I just wish they had used the same scope on the micro as they do the Matrix

Is there much of a difference between the 2 scopes?( I just wish they had used the same scope on the micro as they do the Matrix )

Alright just want to make sure everyone is 100% clear on the rules for posting your deer picks! Every year teams miss out because they didn't have the correct pictures. You MUST post two pictures of you, your bow, and deer. Make sure they are different enough so we don't have anyone questioning it. You also need to post your time and date when you took it! If anyone is unclear please ask me!!!
