Anyone know anything about these heads?

Have to admit they are just my style being an old Magnus shooter myself.

Pretty cool that you can buy 1 head to try them out.

Here's a thread on them from one of the other forums I frequent.

    Dirt NAP Broadheads

They look similar to German Kinetcs. I'm currently testing a set of their single bevel heads. I've got them hitting with FP's out to 30 yds so far. Haven't had a decent day to try them farther out yet, but I'll post an update here when I get the chance to shoot them at 40 and 50.

I wanted to switch to them but on this thread and others I was reading bad reviews. The steel is not very hard, and the finish peels off very quickly. Also, grain weight varied a lot. I mean sometimes by 15gr. That could make close to a 6" difference at 40+ yards.

That being said, they do have a good warranty and I can tell you that heads with that profile fly AWESOME. I shot the cheap knock-off Carbon Express version just for fun and they were dead nuts accurate. Just very soft steel. And everyone who shoots Solids says they fly perfect.

They are great broadheads. My fraternity brother in college Tom started the company. He sent me some last year and I killed 3 deer with them. Worked great and flew straight. Tom is a great guy and hope he does well with the broadheads. He has been working the social media outlets hard and getting them out there. I bowhunted for the first time 20 years ago at his farm Missouri and I believe he still lives there today. Glad to see people are hearing about them.

I picked up a pack of the single bevels and was testing them. Couldn't get them to fly with my field points with either of my bows. With 2" razor feathers, the back end of the arrow was corkscrewing all the way to the target. 4" feathers stabilised the arrow but they were consistantly high and left by 6". All fletches 6 deg right helical. FOC w/100Gn head 13%. I put the 25Gn collars on. They shot better but were a bit low. (obviously extra weight on the head)
This is not a setup issue as I have no issues with my Muzzy 3 blade, on either of my bows. If I want to use them I would need to run with longer fletching, and practice with hevier field points. Down the road maybe, but for now, it ain't broke, so I ain't fixing it.
