I have never shot a deer when I didn't have a chew in . The first 15 years or so , I spit from the stand and deer died . The next 10 years , I spit in a bottle and deer died . The last 13 years , I've just swallowed it and bigger deer have died .

I'll just keep swallowing it :tu:

sometimes but I always spit in the bottle and make sure to keep a tight cover on it when I'm done... this is usually when I sit all day long so for the majority of hunts I wait until I'm out to the road before I reach for the tin

I usually spit in an empty pineapple can.

Hey I'm Alex meads, I'm 14 years old and I love to bow hunt. I just bought a brand new bow for this season with my own money form the job I had over the summer. I live in Lebanon Oregon and now season is all most over and I haven't got any thing yet because I'm the only one in my family who bow hunts so no one wants to take me. If you could help me get something this season please get back to me because I don't want to go home empty-handed

I dip but, not before I go out or during. It freaking sucks but, I work hard on scent control and prefer not to chance it. Personal preference I guess.

I can only do the sissy stuff :)
    Camel SNUS winterchill.

just to experiment once, I spat a "Jose Wales" on a yearlings back right under my stand, her big mature momma was licking it off her within minutes ?

I do still use a capped bottle, even though it appeared not to bother them

Jose Wales for those who don't know......

I also won't climb past the point where the tree gets smaller than my can :)

    This.

Nothing better than a big ole chaw, the sweet smell I pineapple, and an insatiable appetite to pump iron on the incline.

I have been spitting on the ground for 26 years bow hunting and have never had a deer blow out on me from it . I have been winded a few times by older does but I have had deer come to base of tree and sniff where I have been spitting and just continue on as they were . I spit a couple times when I first put a fresh dip in then I just swallow it after that so I really don't have a bunch of spit on the ground any ways.

quit. Seriously, please quit. The stuff is horrible for you. Might as well have a chunk of uranium in your lip.
Way too many people get hideous random cancers from that junk at such a young age.

My former boss has inoperable brain tumors at 46. Ate Red Man like candy for 25 years. Now he's on his death bed. He has 3 kids.
I dipped Kodiak for most of 15 years. Been clean for 8. So glad I gave it up.

PS: What's the deal with the pineapple?
