I keep trying to shoot with this sight but I just can't see the fibers that well. I'm shooting it indoors in a well lit room but unless I turn on the rheostat light I struggle to see the pins. They are suppose to be .019 but they look more like .010. Sent it back to Sure-Loc and talked to them on the phone but no solutions. I've got .019 fibers on my Black Gold & HHA sights and they are great.

Anyone have this issue with this sight or have a solution?

I've tried to flare out the end of the fiber with a piece of hot metal but so far that has not worked either.

    Thanks

Afflicted I have noticed a issue with another sight as well. The Black Gold and HHA fibers are the best in the business and have never failed me. I wonder if it would be worth it to remove the fibers from an old HHA and try to install them on the Sure-Lock just to see if it makes a difference.

Another thing I wanted to ask is what color is the fiber in the Sure-Loc? I have issues with red fibers and they are very hard for me to see is the reason I ask. Maybe a different color fiber might help as well.

I like that idea of changing the fibers myself. All green except the center pin is red. I lose them after 20yds.

I'm going to try to flare them with metal tip of a hot glue gun first.

This site has the Retina lock on it so it's a really great site except for the fact the fiber is to small.
