Ok so heres the deal.....I am in the military and currently deployed to Afghanistan. Bowtech has a program where they will send service members overseas a bow at a discounted price. They are usually discontinued bows. The ones they available right now are the Destroyer 340, Sentinel, and the Diamond Marquis. The prices vary on these from around 650-350. So since I am not able to shoot these bows to find one that fits right I am looking for help from people who have shot these. I have looked at reviews and have narrowed it down to either the D340 or the Sentinel.

So I am asking for input on the D340 and the Sentinel....what pros and cons have you had with shooting these bows. They will come ready to shoot.

If you would like more info about this program it is on the Bowtech website.....

Shot the d 340, shoots darts...seemed solid in all regards, fairly smooth draw for being as aggressive as it is, very stable at draw. Quite and not much vibration. I cant see how you can go wrong.

of those 3 it's the destroyer hands down the 340 actually shoots better than the 350 but the 350 is a little faster

I would go with one of the BowTechs for the money. IMO much better bows than the Bowmadness XS and for that price, it is not a discount on the PSE.

I really like the Bowmadness however, I have owned Bowtech's and they do shoot really well. I'm gonna say go with the PSE. I have recently switched to PSE and here is why I like them:
    1. (Adjustable cams) easier to sell when you decide to get a new bow because they will fit almost anyone.
    2. (factory competition grips) I have noticed that newer shooter tend to shoot better with bows that have smaller grips.
    3. (factory tuning marks) I do all of the set up on my bows and I think that the tuning marks make set up a lot less painless.
    4. (outstanding customer service) I have never had to argue with them, if there is a problem they will fix it and usually not charge.

Having said all that, all of today's bows are outstanding and I don't think you'll be disappointed with whatever you choose.

A bow will only shoot as well as the shooter. I would get the sentinel.
