Yea, even though it was funny, if we can leave the high school humor out of this one, I think some of the odd foods out there was rather interesting

Lotta people already mentioned frog legs....Probably to this day my all time favorite food. And like mentioned before, wild caught ones were tastier than farm raised.

Some of the other things I've had and liked
    Ostrich
    Quail
    Calamari
    Turtle soup
    rabbit
    squirrel
bear (made by a chef, not sure the name but basically a stuffed pastry with bear meat & dates or raisins) Sooo good
    Alligator
I've tried some of the more common sushi fish...salmon, tuna, some kind of whitefish

Some of the other things I would like to try
    Rattlesnake
Alligator prepared differently than what I had
    Duck
    goose
    Dove

I was fed some raccoon once at a BBQ w/o knowing what it was. Honestly, it just tasted like really greasy chicken. Not great, but not awful either. As far as game that wasn't native to our area....I've ate bison, alligator, elk and moose.

I've never had duck, groundhog (which I've heard was decent??), or bear.

I have never eaten a lot of wild game. Only fish, squirrels, and deer really. Oh yeah, some rabbit and frog legs as well.

I've had groundhog, coon, turkey nuts (that's right turkey nuts from when they castrate them) and along those line Rocky Mountain Oysters. EEL from the Mississippi River.

    Woodcock (the bird :))

We have a wild game dinner every year at church, there are usually 20 or so different foods ther and I try them all. Not real sure what I have eaten, probably easier to list what I have not eaten.

I'll try anything, so I've ate a lot of "different" foods, ranging from raw beef (beef carpaccio) to nutria rat to squirrel heads to bull balls.

When I was younger, whatever I killed, I would roast over a fire in our back yard. I have ate ever type of small bird imaginable.
