The Limbsaver website has two cable dampeners: A Power Ring dampener and a NAVCOM Cable Guard dampener.

The site describes the Power Ring as the maximum performance dampener. While the NAVCOM is listed as all weather.

Does anybody know what the difference is between the Power and the NAVCOM? Which is better for a hunting application? I can't imagine the Power Ring would fall apart when wet.

In case anybody is wondering...Chris from Limbsaver responded to an email with a few answers:

"The power ring is the better of the two products. It has a metal ring around our modular material. The weight and compression is a good mix to reducing the most vibration. The other cable dampener is still a great product and is 100% Navcom."

He also said one Power Ring is sufficient.
