I have never shot the Killzone but sure it works just as well as the Rages I do shoot.

The people that say the O-rings can break, that is true but I have never had it happen. I do carry spare o rings with me and change in the woods if I think it's necessary.

ALSO: I dont think it would make that much of a difference out of a tuned bow if it did open? I have messed around with an old Rage. I opened the thing up fully, partially, shot it without an o-ring at 20 and 30yrds and had no difference in point of impact. I understand nobody wants to take that chance but I had to see what would happened if so, and was pleased/confident with the results.

Every time you shoot an animal they should get new blades or replaced if ferrule is bent

Every rear deploying broadhead has the exact same design flaws IMO. They are too steep a blade angle, and too big of a cutting diameter. They should simply look at the original rear deploying head, the Rocky Mountain Snyper 2 blade, and look at the blade angle and cutting diameter. The Snyper (1.5" cut, laid back blade angle), penetrated way better, and suffered broken blades way less, than the Rage with it's 2" cut and steep blade angle.

A lot of that has to do with the bow setup as well....I've seen a lot of guys shooting light poundage, slow bows with a light arrow have issues with penetration and can't figure it out...It's take a bow/arrow setup with a little bit of balls to shove a 2" cut broadhead completely through an animal. A bow that's really out of tune causes you to lose penetration as well, it's hard for an arrow that's flying sideways to penetrate well or an arrow that's corkscrewing to the target sheds speed extremely fast.

Snypers were awesome, I've killed a LOT of deer with them over the years and never tore a head up.

Yeah snypers were good never had any issues with them and ive never had any issues with the g5 t3 thats what i mainly shoot there so tuff and durable. I used the killzones last season and had no issues with those either i killed a bunch of hogs with them and a nice 8 pointer all were pass thru's i posted a hog pass thru the killzones worked great i just dont like how the head is so long thats why i favor the t3 nice and short its the toughest mechanical ive ever shot in my opinion.

Poundage is kinda of a grey area in my opinion....Cause 70lbs on an old Bear whitetail and 50lbs on say a new PSE Full Throttle are 2 very different things...The 50lbs PSE FT is gonna generate a ton more energy than the old slow Bear Whitetail at 70lbs.
If your dead set on shooting big mechanical heads then a person really needs to look at their overall setup like= Bow speed, draw weight, tune and arrow weight. Not every setup out there is 2" cut mechanical head friendly.

I've killed deer with Rage 2 blade chisel and razor tipped both 40KE and regular 2 blade without a single flaw to see or speak of........heads were awesome in my experience.

Then I bought my new packs for the season last year and got the Hypodermics and I was instantly disappointed in them. I hate the "shock collar" as it's the cheapest plastic I have ever seen and they seemed thin and flimsy. I'm sure they would drop a deer on a perfect shot between the ribs but I hate to think that's what HAS to happen for me not to lose and wound a deer. Honestly they also shot a couple inches high for me which is no big deal as I could have just bumped my sight up but I have NEVER had a rage head shoot anywhere other than dead nuts.

I even took them out a few times in spite of my displeasure and they started to come loose after a couple times in and out of the quiver which is an octane magnetic for reference. I threw them out.

I grabbed a pack of Killzones and they were solid and the blades don't budge. Shot like a dart and I sent a couple through deer later in the season and they opened wide at impact and blew through with plenty of arrow stuck in the ground.

I would not hesitate to use Rage heads again as they have served me very well......BUT.....given my experience with the Hypodermics and then the Killzones I would say there is really no reason for me to switch back unless NAP craps out on the Killzones for some reason.

Actually the more I think about it the more I get nostalgic and maybe I will get back to my roots and smoke something with a Magnus head again. I love those things.......not even really sure why I stopped using them.
