Im pretty new to archery and wanted to know whats the difference between what companies market as hunting arrows, and what they market as target arrows?
I don't think I'd worry about what companies mark arrows for, especially if you're planning on doing both. The most important thing about an arrow is that it has the right amount of spine for your setup and that they fly correctly. I target shoot and hunt with the same arrows, they work perfectly for both.
Weight. You don't need much KE to get into the foam of a target but you want to break bones if you have to.
