Last evening my "backyard does" came out to feed. These 3 girls have been running together all winter and I believe was the mother and twins from last fall. I heard one doe snort weazing like crazy and could see her stomping from one window but I couldn't figure out what she was fussing at for about 5 minute. I walked over to another window and saw a house cat milling about the feeder.

    Entertaining.

Another time in the woods a young buck playing with a plastic grocery bag. First pouncing on it like a cat then butting it with its head and the bag grabbing onto his spiked antlers...then proceding to run all about the woods trying to shake the bag off.

So, what have you seen hunting or otherwise that you wouldn't have expected?

My daughter used to have a cat that would sit out in the pasture and the dang deer would come up to it and they would chase each other around a little it was funny. Every spring when my daughter would get her show sheep, the deer would hear the sheep and try to figure out what the hell they were, they would walk slow and stomp as a group and it was funny watching the deer look at each other then the sheep wonder what the hell is that?

I saw a deer that was spray painted once. I'm guessing it was someone's pet that broke loose? It had pink and green streaks on it. Thought that was odd

Had a baby fox stalk me once. Every time I'd let it know I could see it then it would take off. 10 minutes it would be trying to sneak closer to me again.
